Bang2write on Facebook!!

Alright, alright.... I admit it. All those who have bombarded me with Facebook invites, you're right! It is fun. I was so disillusioned with the bore that is Myspace I had given up on social networking sites. But I am reborn... As a vampire, werewolf and zombie all in one day. Interesting. I've also joined several groups, including the marvellous I Secretly Want To Punch Slow Walking People In The Head. 'Cos I do. Except it's probably not so much of a secret anymore, especially since it has 12,000 members.

So be my friend please. Ta.

Oh, and while I'm here, my husband is a billy-no-mates 'cos he only had three people in his email address book, one of which is ME, the other his brother and the other my sister. Not. Good. If you want to talk to someone who knows what it's like to a) really live with me and b) kill people with bits of twig and other garden and household items (it's useful as a writer, I'm tellin' ya), then be his friend too. I thank you.

I am still a Facebook virgin... But I'm on MySpace, I've just forgotten where. Its days are numbered

Oh no! Another reason not to do any writing! x

The whole MySpace, Facebook, BIBO Jingo, Fido or whatever has passed me by.

I actually don't want people to know too much about me. Not that they would, because I suspect that you can discount 99% of the bollocks you read on these sites.

Group therapy works for some. I blog. But that is a form of relaxation for me. I don't measure the hits.
As darren says. Its days are numbered, like flairs in the seventies.

What is Facebook? And what's it for? Ditto My Space. And that one what ED mentioned (Bibo?). They seemed to arrive while I wasn't looking but because young people absorb culture by osmosis nobody actually thought to explain what they were to the likes of me!

Am I kidding? Er, not sure. I hear it's something to do with 'social networking' but I'm not sure what that really means either!!!

I can't get into the Facebook lark - All the Vampire biting business and sending strawberries. But it seems like a good way to pass the time.

I find MySpace and Facebook vaguely scary, but Second Life frightens the bajesus out of me (I met someone the other night who's doing their phD on it under the cover of 'social psychology').

If English Dave thinks you can discount 99% of the bollocks you read on Facebook et al, he should check out Second life - 100% pure bollocks!

Oh yes, Second Life's very scary. I have enough trouble keeping up with real life without having to follow the comings and goings of a spare! ;-)
